Please Join and Support PeaceTech Video Conference

PeaceTech Inc. is a non-profit organization that focuses on building understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims, both here in the Philippines and in other countries around the world. This emphasis is necessary in view of deteriorating relations between Muslim and non-Muslim communities throughout the world.

Our pursuit for an inclusive and lasting peace for Mindanao and our country brings us back to metro manila. Believing that the youth of Luzon has to take an active role in the pursuit of just peace.

This time, we will hold a videoconference between the youth of Metro Manila and the youth of Zamboanga City on the topic of “Embracing Diversity”. In particular, the program will focus on the following: how Islam and Christianity are religions of peace; how youth can overcome discrimination towards Muslims and Christians; and how youth can sustain peace building among themselves.

This videoconference is one of several. We are holding videoconferences throughout Mindanao and in the Visayas and Manila. Furthermore, we are holding videoconferences throughout Indonesia. And in 2009, we will connect Indonesia with the Philippines in videoconferences on similar issues.

We are cordially inviting everyone to be part of this ground breaking event. We are linking 2,000 youth and teachers in Zamboanga and Metro Manila.

Details of the video-dialogue are as follows:

Date: December 03, 2008 (Wednesday)

Time: 8:00am-12:30nn

Venue: Augusto Rosario Theater, De La Salle College of St. Benilde.

* Registration is free and snacks will be served.

We look forward to working with you in building the capacity of our nation’s youth!
